SIFU GEORGE THOMAS underwent rigorous training under Grand Master Fu Sheng Yuan
at his International Academy in Australia. He then went to China for further training and also
took part in an international competition where he was placed second.

George has also mastered the advanced art of the Tai Chi Sword and Sabre.

George is the only authorised Master in India who is trained to teach, directly by the
Grand Master himself. He is also authorised by the World Yong Nian Tai Chi
Federation to teach the art. In China he had the opportunity of training with the
6th generation of the Yang family, Fu Qing Quan, son of Grand Master Fu Sheng Yuan.The Grand Master wanted this Academy to be set up in India by George to spread
the message of TaiChi and share the therapeutic benefits of this great art
in a country so rich in natural medicine and diverse cultures. George has
over 30 years of experience in martial arts as a student, teacher and referee.
His dream is to spread this art form through out the country and to get more people
to discover the joy of practising Tai Chi.
