Harold John Rose, has served in the Indian Air Force and was an active Hockey player for the Air Force hockey team and also the Rajasthan State hockey team.
He has also worked for British Airways engineering (Chennai) and worked as an aeronautical engineering instructor at H.I.E.T,Chennai for 13 years. He was trained by Sifu George Thomas to teach Tai chi and is one of the Senior Instructors of this Academy.
